    Building the Dream Movie

    “Hearst Castle, Building the Dream” is a movie that was produced exclusively for the Hearst Castle Theater. Breathtaking original cinematography combined with vintage clips and stills from the 1920s and 30s allows the construction and history of the Castle to come to life on a five-story screen. This original 40-minute movie is screened every 45 minutes.

    Visitor's Center & Gift Shops

    Located at the base of the hill, the Hearst Castle Visitor Center is where your Hearst Castle experience begins. Purchase tour tickets to see Hearst Castle, shop for souvenirs, grab a bite to eat, and see the original Hearst Castle movie, ”Hearst Castle – Building the Dream,” before your narrated bus ride guides you up to tour the Castle atop The Enchanted Hill.
